The Paparazzi Problem: Why Justin Deserves Better

Let’s talk about the paps (for those who don’t know, that’s short for paparazzi). For as long as Justin has been in the spotlight, the paparazzi have been relentless. No matter where he goes, it feels like they always find a way to be there.

Now, before anyone thinks, “Well, he’s famous, he signed up for this”… let’s be clear: no, he didn’t—not like this. Fame doesn’t mean giving up your right to privacy, or being stalked and provoked just for a reaction.

The paps have crossed countless lines with Justin. There have even been times when they’ve waited down the street from his home just to follow him wherever he goes. Imagine living like that—knowing you can’t even leave your house without being chased.

A recent example: Justin was spotted leaving a restaurant when a pap decided it was the perfect moment to ask him about his ex (Selena) getting married. This is not only disrespectful to Justin, who is a happily married man with a child, but also to his wife and family. Some people argue, “Well, they did the same thing to Selena when Justin got married.” But let’s be honest—that doesn’t make it okay. It was wrong then, and it’s just as wrong now.

The truth is, these questions are designed to be rude, invasive, and provoking. And when Justin reacts, the media loves to spin it as if he’s some “wild, angry guy yelling for no reason.” But the reality is, his frustration is well-deserved. He’s a human being who doesn’t want to feel stalked for the rest of his life.

In my opinion, laws around paparazzi need to change. They shouldn’t be allowed to follow someone’s car, harass them in public, or disrupt their personal life just because they’re famous. And let’s not forget—the excuse that “it’s for the fans” is a complete lie. We don’t want Justin being stalked. No fan asked for that.

History has already shown us the dangers of unchecked paparazzi behavior—we all remember what happened to Princess Diana. Something needs to change, not just for Justin, but for the safety and mental well-being of all public figures.
