Justin Bieber’s “Bad Honey” Music Video: Low Budget or Pure Authenticity?

I messed up! I really wanted to post for 30 days straight, but I didn’t take into account that I’d be moving this month. And if you’ve ever moved before, you know it’s a lot—especially with two young kids. This mama has been tired, to say the least 😮‍💨.

But that doesn’t mean I can’t keep posting! So, let’s get into today’s topic.

Have you guys seen the video for “Bad Honey” yet? I’ve been hearing some mixed opinions about it. The video definitely feels very spur-of-the-moment. Justin’s been spotted hanging out in bars in Scotland recently, and it seems like that’s where the video was filmed.

It’s pretty simple—just Justin dancing around on bar booths and singing. Nothing too fancy, but that’s part of the charm. It actually feels like it was shot in real time, which I think is really cool. Even with his music videos lately, just like his Instagram posts, it feels like he’s bringing us along for the ride.

Some people are calling it “low budget,” but honestly, I think that’s the point. It feels intentional—like Justin finally has full creative control over what he’s doing in this era (Swag and Swag II). He’s just doing whatever feels right to him. There’s a level of authenticity in him right now that we’ve never seen before, and I’m so happy and proud of JB for that.

If you haven’t watched the “Bad Honey” video yet, go check it out on Justin’s YouTube page—and I’ll see you guys tomorrow 💕
